Stay Hydrated!
Keep drinking water, and listen to your voice when it is feeling tired. Marking during rehearsal is a technique where you sing at 50% in a more comfortable range for you. Try it out!

HUM!
As our voices carry us through the seasons of life, they will change and create new things to navigate. If you're feeling like your voice isn't up to snuff - HUM! Hum around your apartment, hum songs from the radio, and softly sing folk songs. Your Voice is a muscle and will love the workout!

Sing with a Buddy
If you feel like you're not always on the same page as the rest of the choir, (sometimes literally) talk to the board and we can help you find a buddy to help you out, whether that's finding the measure we're on or explaining whatever Kate is doing. We are a community that deserves to sing together and feel good.
